In Mark 1:17 Jesus said He would make His disciples to become "fishers of men."
We strongly believe in telling people around us about how their lives can be changed by Jesus. We have visitation every Saturday morning at 11:00 AM, where we go door to door to pass out tracts and witness to people. We also have those who go out and visit our bus kids and their families.
Though many have forsaken the call of one-on-one personal evangelism, we have embraced both the Commands and Promises of spreading the Gospel message and winning souls to Christ. We would encourage you to consider these Promises:
1. Jesus is with you.
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matthew 28:20
2. God’s Word is potent.
So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. Isaiah 55:11
3. If we are faithful, we will see the harvest.
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not” (Galatians 6:9). “He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him. Psalm 126:6
4. We have been given power to witness.
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Acts 1:8
