At First Baptist Church, we are committed to declaring that Jesus Christ is more desirable than all the pleasures of the world. We will have hospitality greeters at the doors to greet you when you arrive and guide you to where you and your family should go. They can answer any question that you may have at the time.

You will have an opportunity to attend a Bible study during the Sunday School hour at 10:00 am and a Bible-based message from Pastor Boyce during our morning worship service at 11:00 am.

God has gifted the local assembly with what is necessary to instruct and encourage Christ-likeness in all believers. Our involvement with the local church is to be sought out with faithfulness before God as He directs all believers in Hebrews 10:25 “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Our ministry to the Lord Jesus Christ comes from the heart that is not created nor sustained by external pressure but from the willingness to serve that brings glory, honor, and praise to His Holy name. As the church functions together as a body of believers the body is then strengthened as one and grows in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.

All believers are to be engaged in the work of the ministry of reconciliation as described in II Corinthians 5:18 “And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;”.

Specific ministries allow us to care for people while also providing a measure of personal accountability to the Lord’s work. It is our goal at First Baptist Church to help folks come to a closer walk with the Lord Jesus Christ.

In His Service,

Pastor Robert Boyce
